Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He was in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles including Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to Ky's growing popularity among the new generation of reggae singers. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell along with Praswell and Fugees (as as part of Avenue) has a cult song of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in 1997. Marley performed for the first time at Midem, an international concert held in Miami. Marley performed a set live at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley came to be the target of bidding battles.
